Description:You are a group of six warriors in Nemedia, working for the King as his "Knights of Virtue". One day, the King of Nemedia discovers that one of his most loyal Lords, Lord B'Karth Helsaford, who rules over the kingdom of Asgard, is actually plotting to have him assasinated, so that he can reclaim his former title as king. So, in hurried desperation, the King sends you out to denounce B'Karth from his throne, to take away his title of "Lordship", and exile him from his kingdom, both as a ruler and a citizen.
The act was done B'Karth was kicked out of royalty and lost his Lordship over Asgard. He grieved as you gave him the news, prepared to leave the country. He did some interviews and debates to keep the income coming, and happened to run into you, the ones who enforced his denouncement. When you became drunk, B'Karth took this opportunity to beat you and rob you of all pricely posessions amidst all of the other homeless drunkards that surrounded you. The guards of the Tavern had placed you in the "Pit". When you awoke with your hangovers, you noticed your situation.
You had to find your stuff, and you had to find B'Karth and punish him for his evil doings. But he was planning to steal the Five Orbs of Light, so that he could have the powers of gods, which would allow him and his friends to take over Nemedia, their home- world.
So you set out into the world, to avenge yourselves, and to serve your King. He needs B'Karth destroyed, because of his demonic ambitions, and you want him dead, so what's the problem?
The DEMO version of Paladin's Sword will allow you to explore most of Asgard and one city in the Technological Realm overseas. You won't be able to beat the game, but you will be able to enter the Cave of Dismissal, the only exit from the DEMO.
