Chat Instructions:


The BOE Chat has moved to an IRC (internet relay chat) server. The chat schedule is every Friday at 7:00 pm PST / 10:00 pm EST.

In order to access the Blades of Exile Chat:

1. Download an IRC client program:

Windows: Click here to download mirc.
Macintosh: Click here to download ircle.
2. Make a new server for chocobo.esper.net at the default port. Due to server problems at dragonfire.esper.net the chat is sometimes held at SpringSips.Co.CastleNet.Org in the port 6667.

4. Once connected to the server, type: "/join #exilechat"

5. If you wish to register your username, type: "/msg nickserv register <password>". Replace <password> with a password that you will remember for future use. This will make it so that nobody will be able to steal your username and pretend to be you.
