Blades of Exile is the sequel to the Exile Trilogy. In Blades, you still control a band of six adventurer's whose main purpose is to kill monsters and save the world. This world that you have to save varies with whatever scenario you are playing. However, since each scenario has a different plot and goal, you may not even have to save the world after all. (Whew!)

The coolest part about Blades of Exile is that you can make new scenarios to play, and get other people's custom scenarios, letting you make really powerful parties. The all new Scenario Editor is a tool that lets you make these fantastic worlds. It allows you to edit special encounters, dialogue, terrain, and much more.

BOE is based on the same engine as Exile III, so the game should be pretty familiar to those who have played the third game in the trilogy. The only changes I have noticed are in graphics: trees, doors, cave floor, cave walls, and some other terrain types have changed. For those of you that have not played any other of Spiderweb Software's games, check them out at Spiderweb's webpage.

The original 3 scenarios and the Blades of Exile game can be registered for $30. Without paying, you cannot play the many scenarios that other players have created, most of which are better than Valley of Dying Things. Also, registering is the only way to beta test your scenarios.
