MEMBERS: Some sad news today… Cyndy will not be able to play with us anymore. As we all know she's a very busy little keyboardist, but we will miss her terribly
L . However she will be keeping in touch, and we are hoping to jam with her from time to time J

GIGS: The Unknown Hour's October agenda has been modified to include another youth worship service at Webster Christian Reformed Church - like the one they played at last year. This will take place on October 21st at 6:30pm. The band will also be leading worship at WCRC on the morning of the 21st, for the regular Sunday church service. God is good!

GIGS: Yesterday The Unknown Hour was blessed to be a part of the wedding celebration of their friends Derek and Betty. Between DJing and playing about an hour and a half worth of live music, The Unknown Hour got a whole new experience under their belt. And yes it's true, even The Girl Drummer Who Rules got a mic yesterday!
J Special thanks to our good friend and back up rhythm guitarist Mike for playing and singing with us. "And a good time was had by all."
MEMBERS: Tommy is in good spirits and will be coming home for good on the 5th!!! He's been singing and playing guitar for the LORD right in his hospital room, and undoubtedly being a blessing the nurses and patients and everyone else who happens to walk by.

On a much much happier note, people who have visited Tommy in the hospital since last Monday have commented that he is the happiest they have ever seen him. One even commented that he is ahem -- "effervescent." Praise the LORD!! The rehabilitation must be going better than anyone expected - of course - The LORD's involved!!!
OTHER STUFF: After the wedding gigs in September, The Unknown Hour will be taking a few weeks off from practice. Then they will begin working on some new material and some covers for their October 27th show in Buffalo. Write it on your calendar and tell your friends and let's fill that place up!

MEMBERS: We went to visit Tommy today - he was kept an extra day in the hospital, but will be moved tomorrow to a rehabilitation center for two weeks where he can continue Physical Therapy. Apparently, post-surgery is a lot more painful than one would expect - but in the long run we know this is on the road to healing and a new era in Tommy's life and the lives of The Unknown Hour. Continue to keep Tommy in prayer, for quick and complete healing. If you would like to know how to contact Tommy, e-mail
me.

GIGS: Last night was our sixth Net gig. It was a little scary at first because when we got to the venue, they thought it was open mic night - outside where you could only play acoustic!!! After much deliberation, however, the band and The Net decided to have them set up inside, full electric. So we didn't get started until 930 but played a full hour and a half set. We had a special performance during the solo set by Robin - who says he's "just the sound guy." We know the truth. The second full-band set was all worship and it was a wonderful time of celebration of the Lord.
MEMBERS: Please keep Tommy in prayer, he will be going in for surgery on August 15th and will be out of commission for a while, at least in terms of playing again. Also, Scotty will be going back to Buffalo at the end of August - we will miss him so much. He, Tommy and Sue are all seniors this year. If you listen carefully you can hear "Pomp and Circumstance" being played now in the distance, very faintly…
UPCOMING: It will be a long road until October 27th, when the band will play their next five-member show. So make plans now to come see us in Buffalo at Spice of Life - 8pm.

GIGS: Tonight The Unknown Hour led worship at Faith to Faith Fellowship. It was an awesome evening and God's presence was truly fell upon the sanctuary. How we long to play more worship!!! A special thanks to Mike, who filled in on rhythm guitar and sang awesomely with the band. God has provided us with so many cool friends and fellow musicians, we are very very thankful.
