REGISTRATION

There is a small fee to attend the Dawn Doll Convention in Vancouver. Without the support of the Dawnette Community, the fee would be expensive, as we are not supported by any businesses or companies. Early registration is now closed. We are still accepting late registrations, at a fee of $130 per person. You will not be able to get a convention doll, but you will get breakfast and lunch, plus the other usual fun stuff. Late registration fee is $130 and ends on July 15th. Guest registrations are CLOSED. Hotel info is at bottom of page but as of June 1st, the hotel is SOLD OUT, unless you wish to pay for a suite. There may be some Dawnettes willing to take a roomie so please email and ask.

THE HOTEL

We are pleased to announce that the Convention will take plase at the five star and five diamond hotel, Sutton Place Hotel, Vancouver BC.

You won't want to miss out on any group activities, so stay close to the fun! Since we're booking a meeting room and have guaranteed a minimum number of rooms and meals, we have a Special Group Rate.

Please book under the code: DAWN DOLL GROUP. Here are the rates and they are per room, not person so you can share with a friend. Hotel tax is 10%, GST Tax is 6% and refundable to non-residents. Amounts are in Canadian dollars but I have done US Dollar estimates in brackets.

Sutton Guestroom: $217 ($185 USD) per night: one king size bed or two double beds
There are Deluxe and Premier Guestrooms for $237/$257 ($203/$220 USD)(for views)
Executive One Bedroom Suite: $307 ($263 USD)
Grand One Bedroom Suite: $337 ($289 USD)(Note that the Convention Director is booking one for room parties)

The regular guestrooms I found roomy enough but the one bedroom suites have a separate bedroom area and a separate living room. All rooms come with a fridge. Grand suites have an adjoining guestroom to become two bedrooms and two bathrooms, so you may want to make arrangements with friends and book these rooms together. Rates are valid 3 days before the convention and 3 days after the convention. Rooms must be booked by June 1, 2007 or regular room rates apply if the hotel has not sold out. There is only one floor for smoking, so if you're a smoker I suggest you book ASAP.
