14-DAY GUARANTEE
Your Braveheart pup's health is guaranteed for 14 days from the time of possession, during this time you should have your pup examined by a vet to confirm its sound health. If your pup is found not healthy by your veterinarian, we will, at our option, either refund the purchase price of your pup or give you another pup of the same quality from the next available litter. You must give us a veterinarian?s certificate setting forth the health problem within 10 days of the veterinarian?s exam, this guarantee does not apply to injury, illness, or parasites sustained subsequent to you taking possession of your pup.
1 YEAR REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE AGAINST CONGENITAL MALFORMATION OR FATAL HEREDITARY DISEASE
Your Braveheart pup is guaranteed against fatal congenital malformation or fatal hereditary disease which occurs or is discovered AND which has or would result in death or crippling, before the pup reaches 12 month of age. If your pup has such condition, you must surrender your pup, and we will, at our option, either refund the purchase price of your pup or replace your pup with another pup of the same quality or better quality from the next available litter. Surrender or keeping the pup is at our option. The Buyer cannot keep the pup and also request a refund of the purchase price. The AKC papers must be returned to us when the pup is returned. Existing requests with deposits will be honored first. You must provide us with a veterinarian's certificate, vet reports and lab tests within 10 days of the determination of fatal congenital malformation or fatal hereditary disease which specifies the health problem. If your puppy dies or is crippled by distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, or parvovirus within 12 months of birth, the SELLER must prove that all shot schedules you were given at purchase time was followed and completed. You must either send proof that you have neutered or humanely destroyed your pup. Cost of veterinary services shall be the responsibility of the buyer. A second opinion will be obtained and if it is found to be a congenital condition your puppy will be replaced at no charge with a puppy as soon as one is available. If you receive a replacement pup under the Braveheart Guarantee, there will be no charge for tail docking, dewclaw removal, worming, and vaccinations up to the date of pick-up of the replacement pup. You will be charged the expense of ear cropping.
2 YEAR REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE AGAINST HIP DYSPLASIA
Your Braveheart pup is guaranteed until two years of age to be free from crippling hip dysplasia. If within this period your Braveheart pup has crippling hip dysplasia ( it must be OFA certified ), and you wish a replacement pup you must deliver that certification within ten ( 10 ) days of certification from OFA and vet documentation of the crippling status of the hips and return your Braveheart pup?s papers to us. A second OFA may be done by the SELLER if the puppy passes the second OFA, the owner will pay for the second test. If the puppy fails the second OFA and is found to have crippling hip displasia it will be replaced. All dogs must be OFA tested at 2 years of age to keep this quarantine intact, if not OFA tested at 2 years of age this part of the contract is null and void. Penn-hip evaluations may be used in place of OFA. You must either send proof that you have neutered or humanely destroyed your pup. We will replace your Braveheart pup with another pup of the same quality from the next available litter.
If you receive a replacement pup under the Braveheart Guarantee, there will be no charge for tail docking, dewclaw removal, worming, and vaccinations up to the date of pick-up of the replacement pup. You will be charged the expense of ear cropping.
LIMITATIONS OF GUARANTEE
The guarantee applies to the original puppy only and is non-transferable. No replacement will be given if the male or female has been bred, or registration application form has expired. The cost of transportation of any pups to and from Braveheart Kennels and the cost of veterinary services shall be the responsibility of the buyer. Within the 14 days that the said dog is returned or surrendered, any and all veterinary fees due to sickness that are incurred in that time frame will be the responsibility of the BUYER and must be paid to the SELLER in full to cover the veterinary bill. Guarantees in this contact are for replacement puppies only, and do not refer to cash money. This guarantee is null and void if ears are cropped and do not stand, or the dog is found to have been abused or mistreated, vaccination schedule has not been maintained and proof of all vaccinations must accompany any requests for replacement puppies. No warranty is made with respect to Cancer.
By signing this agreement/contract, we affirm that we have read, understood and agree to abide to the terms set forth for our benefit and the advancement and protection of this Doberman detailed herein.
