As you know Dawn is on a tour of the World, We were lucky enough to have her as a Guest at the B&B Boutique. Though the boutique is still under going renovations, Dawn was able to browse the many little shoppe's that make up the B&B Boutique. Though many items that you can buy from the Boutique through mail order, Dawn wanted to browse the actual store and browse through the catalogues of all of the seamstresses! She was very lucky that we had some outfits actually in stock, that were made by the seamstresses, for her to look Come, join Dawn for a cup of tea, and take a peek of some of the things that she was able to purchase!
 The first stop is the Millinary. Here Dawn was able to pick her own fabric choices for the outfits that she was having made for her trip! She even chose the threads and trims.Barbara (the dawn doll who runs the Boutique),is in the background checking out all of Dawn's souveniers from her journey!  There were so many bolts of fabric to choose from Dawn was not too sure which one to pick, so Barbara came over to help her out, She picked a bright floral print fabric, She said it would make her feel like she is part of the upcoming "Spring Mini Swap" if she can have a mini made from this material. Barbara agreed, so after Dawn made her final decision it was off to another part of the Boutique...  Next Dawn Heads over to the Bridal Shoppe at the boutique and she gets to wear another one of Di's Beautiful Custom Wedding gowns, Barbara is taking measurements of Dawn for her new Mini. (Barbara's dress was made by Sue B.)  Dawn just love's Di's gowns, Her friend Glori is wearing one too! Glori decides to grab a cup of tea while Dawn tells of her lastest travels. Dawn had been at Di's a few weeks ago, She had such a great time! She told us all about her visit in Utah, along with her Visit at Teresa's in West Virginia, where she even made the Local paper!! After that she went on to De Ann's in Florida, she is just having such a great time on her vacation!! Though she misses her Mama Robin so much, she promises to write her an email tonight!  Dawn sits down to browse though the pictures of the great fashions available through the B&B. While Barbara Packs Dawns new "Spring Mini" in her suitcase for her. As she was viewing the pictures of some of the outfits, Barbara asks her if she would like to see some of the outfits in person? Dawn was so excited!...But where could they hold their fashion show? Barbara had an idea, There is a certain room at the B&B that will do just fine for this fashion show! After a few quick phone calls the fashion show was on!  On with the show!!The ladies decided to do a Fashion show for Dawn so she can see some of the lovely outfits, that Babs' and her friends have made! They decided to hold a "Mock" Fashion show at the B&B's Inn, there was plenty of room there, as the Inn is still under construction too. But the bar was open for Business, and Bartender Gary Introduces himself to our Special Guest. Dawn was able to model a diamond print pantsuit fashion by Babs. Also seen in this photo, is Pippa in a Leather dress with Leather leggins, Glori in silver zig zag Dazzler both by Babs, Glori in Gold a go go, and Dale in a cute Green jumper suit, both by Kat.  Glori, takes the the "center stage" in a black eyelash mini made by Wendy S. Dawn Decides to take a closer look at the Great outfit and Hat that Michelle Candace made for Angie. Angie Asks Dawn if she would like to look at some other hats available at the Boutique.  Next it was off to the Hat shoppe, Here Angie (wearing an outfit by Michelle C) helps her look at some different hat styles. That are available at the Boutique.  Dawn Bids Farewell, to her new friends at the Boutique, "it sure will be a beautiful place once all of the construction work is done" she thought. Now it is time for her to head to the Pocono Mountains with Babs,as she sadly waves good bye to Barbara (who is holding on to "Baby Babs" in her arms). Though Dawn is sad, she knows it is only a temporary feeling, as it won't be long until she is off to Heidi's house in Ill. She can't wait to see what Heidi has in store for her!!But in the meantime, it is off to Hot Dog Johnny's in Butzville N.J. Then the Pocono Mountains!  Click here to view Dawn's Vacation!! |
